Poetry which is hauntingly reflective from a period in Europe which should never be forgotten. Ille was born in Estonia and began writing poetry at the age of sixteen. She came to Australia in 1948 as a refugee in the displaced persons category. Determined to master English, Ille obtained her B.A. degree at the Queensland University in 1975. As well as poetry, she writes short stories and plays, and collections of her work have recently been accepted to be considered for performances in Western Australia and the USA.
